The Griffins Closes Out the Season with Doubleheader Loss to Webster

St. Louis, MO - The Fontbonne University Baseball team closed out its 2025 season on Sunday afternoon with a tough doubleheader against the Webster Gorlocks, falling 8-0 in Game One and 8-2 in Game Two. With the losses, the team concludes its campaign just shy of postseason qualification.
Game One
Despite the scoreboard, the Griffins left it all on the field, battling through the final innings with the same energy and enthusiasm that defined their season. In game one, Kameren Brooks knocked three hits. Kendall Horton, TJ Schwartz, and Ben Swift all pitched this game.
Game Two
In Game Two, Ty Kueper and Brooks had the last two runs of the year. Derek Morganthaler and Camden Coleman took the mound for the final time at Fontbonne. Carter Arenz and Jack Reynolds had the last two RBIs of the season.
The team finished the season with a 7-22 record.
