Mount Pleasant, Iowa - Fontbonne men's basketball is still searching for their first conference win after falling to Iowa Wesleyan 91-80 today. Ben Kissing scored 19 points in the first half to give Fontbonne a 48-42 advantage. Kissing was held to nine points in the second half, but scored a career-high 28 points and third 20+ scoring game in a row. The junior tallied three treys in the first half. Richard Dorhauer totaled 14 points on the day with three three-pointers and five-of-six shooting at the free-throw line.
Iowa Wesleyan posted 42 points in the second half to Fontbonne's 32, securing the Tigers' a 2-0 SLIAC record. Foweler and Drey each netted 10 points in teh second half while Butler finished the day with four treys. Fowler tallied the Tigers' team-high 23 points.
Fontbonne is at home against Spalding next Saturday, December 12th for a 3 p.m. SLIAC contest.
