St. Louis, Mo. - First half basketball was neck and neck tonight until Greenville went in the locker room on a 9-2 run and then outscored Fontbonne 68-52 in the second half. The loss is Fontbonne's fourth straight and takes the Griffins to 6-9 in conference and 8-14 overall.
Greenville sank 16 three-pointers in the game as Tim Daniel went four-of-eight attempts and Kenny Greene connected on there trys. Six Panthers scored double-digits as DeAndre Brown scored 22 points to lead his team.
Fontbonne's Kody Ettinger also shot 50% from long-range with five treys and 23 total points with six rebounds. Senior Jared Greenlee contributed with the only double-double on the night with 21 points and 14 rebounds.
Fontbonne travels to Eureka College this Saturday, February 13th for a 3 p.m. game against the Red Devils.
