Also, the previous combined assists record was 79 set all the way back in 1995. Tonight, the two teams surpassed that with a new record of 82.
Overall, the Griffins (8-13; 6-8 SLIAC) shot a season-high 62.6 percent from the floor and came away with 66 rebounds. Individually, Jared Woodcock set a career-high with 33 points on 14-of-19 shooting.

The Panthers maintained its double-digit lead the rest of the way and went into the locker room on top, 97-70.
Fontbonne shot 66.7 percent from the floor in the first and Woodcock was nearly perfect from the field going 9-of-10 to lead with 21 points. Greenville, meanwhile, connected on 41.5 percent of its attempts and they were led by Williams' 20 off the bench.
In the second half, despite Fontbonne shooting 59.6 percent from the field and scoring 76 points in the half, the Panthers offense proved to be too much as they went on for the win.
