How It Happened
In the first half, a made jumper from Domonic Doolin gave Fontbonne an 11-10 advantage at the 13:10 mark. The Tigers, though answered with a 16-1 run over the next eight minutes with Jake Neubauer's 3-pointer giving the Tigers a 26-12 lead.
They outscored Fontbonne 19-14 the rest of the way to lead 45-26 at the break. Fontbonne had its struggles from the floor going 9-of-35 (25.7 percent) and going just 1-of-13 from downtown. The Tigers, meanwhile, shot 46.9 percent and hit 10 3-pointers.
In the second half, the Griffins kept on battling and got the deficit down to 55-43 with 11:28 remaining after Jared Woodcock earned the old-fashioned 3-point play. However, the Tigers got the advantage back out to 69-48 in just four minutes time on Austin Banks 3-pointer.
Despite, the Griffins shooting an improved 37.1 percent from the floor, the Tigers offense stayed hot connecting on 44.4 percent of its shots in the final 20:00 minutes en route to the 22-point win.

- Fontbonne shot 31.4 percent form the floor and tied its season-low with two made 3-pointers. The team finished with a season-low 8.7 3-point percentage.
- It marks just the third time this year the Griffins were held to a field goal percentage under 40.0
- Fontbonne limited themselves to just nine turnovers and forced 18 on Iowa Wesleyan.
- Iowa Wesleyan ended with a 45.8 field goal percentage and connected on 15 3-pointers.
- On the glass, they outrebounded Fontbonne, 43-33.

- Jacob Neubauer led Iowa Wesleyan with a game-high 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including going 6-of-9 from downtown.
- Austin Banks added 15 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.
- Alex Dentlinger and Kaleb Cresswell contributed 14 points apiece.
