How It Happened
It started out well in the first half for the griffins with Caden Clark making his jumper at the 12:34 mark to make it a 20-13 contest.
At 10:09, Noah Coddington made his jumper to give Fontbonne the 25-18 lead, however, the Red Devils went on a 11-2 run over the next four minutes to lead 29-27 on Chris Daniels jumper.
The two teams continued its back-and-forth play with the Griffins regaining the advantage with 1:10 remaining on Elijah Rice capitalizing on this 3-point play giving the Griffins a 39-37 lead. Though, the Red Devils closed out the half on a 6-0 run finished off by Jordan Brooks 3-pointer for the 43-39 lead at the break.
In the second half, the Red Devils continued to hold its marginal lead up until Anthony Jones made his 3-pointer with 11:52 remaining to give Fontbonne the one-point (56-55) advantage.
Eureka regained the lead and expanded it out to 74-66 with 7:56 left on Ian Milsteadt's 3-point play. Fontbonne trimmed the deficit down to 82-80 on Jones' corner 3-pointer with 35 seconds left but the Red Devils made each of its four free throws for the 86-80 win.

- Fontbonne shot a season-high 47.6 percent from the floor and connected on a season-high 12 free throws.
- Defensively, they finished with season-highs in steals (13) and blocks (six).
- Eureka ended the night shooting 47.2 percent from the floor.

- Anthony Jones led with a team and season-high 27 points on 9-of-15 shooting.
- Gus Kleekamp added a season-high 15 points and pulled down nine rebounds, while Elijah Rice added 13 points, six rebounds, and four assists.
- Cody McKinney came off the bench finishing with a season-high nine points.
