Pruden leads men's golf as team concludes fall play
Kansas City, Mo. - Fontbonne University men's golf completed 2016 fall play on the final two days of fall break at The Dominic. The Griffins played at the Swope Memorial Golf Course in Kansas City, Mo. and the tournament was hosted by Avila University.
Sophomore Will Pruden led the Griffins on both days, shooting 79 and 76 respectively on the par 72, 6507 yard course. Pruden finished tied for 16th place after tying his career-low round of 76.
Senior Zach Goers was second on the team with an 80 and 78 respectively. Goers' 78 is the lowest of the season for the Eureka, Mo. native.
Michael Kanan And Max Conner both shot 174 over the two days. Conner was consistent with 88 and 86 while Kannan improved from a 91 on day one to an 83 on day two.
Kody Flamm improved his play from the Hopkins Collegiate Classic by shooting a 94 and 92 in his respective rounds.
