Men's Golf Finishes In 17th At The Midwest Classic
GALENA, Ill.—The Fontbonne University men’s golf team closed out the Midwest Classic in 17th place after scoring a 77-over par 653 (324-329).
GALENA, Ill.—The Fontbonne University men's golf team closed out the Midwest Classic in 17th place after scoring a 77-over par 653 (324-329).
Edgewood College took home the title with a 44-over par 620 (313-307). Wheaton College and Carthage College tied for second at 45-over par 621, while Aurora and Luther College ended up in fourth at 50-over par 626.
Zach Hentrich (Edgewood College), won the individual title with his even-par 144 (72-72). Paul Henderson, meanwhile, tied for 45th after scoring a 17-over par 161 (76-85) for the Griffins.
One of the big movers on the day was Sam Kaminski as he jumped up 31 spots on the leaderboard, finishing with a 18-over par 162 (83-79). Will Pruden turned in his scorecard with a 22-over par 1166 (82-84).
Satchel Conroy also had a strong day, improving his first round score by six strokes to end with a 24-over par 168 (87-81). Matt Rapasardo finished out the day with a 25-over par 169 (83-86).
