Men's Golf Closes Out Its Fall Season In Second At Blackburn

STAUNTON, Ill.—The Fontbonne University men's golf team put together one of its strongest performances to date at the Blackburn Fall Invite. The Griffins shot a 24-over par 312 for second place.
Host Blackburn was able to hang on for the win with a 23-over par 311. Individually, Marc Berdala (Lewis & Clark CC) won with a 1-over par 73.
Satchel Conroy, meanwhile, concluded the fall season in style with a 3-over par 75 for third place. Matt Rapasardo also played well with a 6-over par 78 for a sixth place tie.
Maxwell Conner finished right behind him at 7-over par 79 for eighth, while Will Pruden turned in his scorecard with an 8-over par 80 for 11th. Paul Henderson ended up being the fifth Griffin to finish inside the Top-15 with his 9-over par 81 for 13th.
Playing as individuals, Paul Weiskopf led with his 12-over par 84 for 22nd place. Kody Flamm and Zach Tullock tied at 18-over par 90 for 31st, while John Lenox ended the day at 24-over par 96 for 33rd.
