Men's Golf Improves On The Final Day At The Rose-Hulman Invite
TERRE HAUTE, Ind.—The Fontbonne University men’s golf team improved its round one score by 16-strokes to finish in a tie for 10th with an 82-over par 642 (329-313) at the Rose-Hulman Invite.

Parkland College came away with the victory after scoring a 13-over par 573 (286-287). Kalamazoo College ended up in second at 18-over par 578 (283-295), while Vincennes University moved up a spot to third with a 31-over par 591 (294-297).
Individually, Travis Veenhuis (Kalamazoo College) shot a 1-under par 69 on the day and that was more than enough for him to go on for the victory at 6-under par 134 (65-69).
Will Pruden was one of the many Griffin golfers moving up the leaderboard. He jumped seven spots after hitting a 16-over par 156 (79-77) for 35th. On the front nine, Pruden bogeyed holes six, seven and eight. On the back, he came away with three pars, five bogeys and one birdie on the par three 13th.
Sam Kaminski shot a 4-over par 74 today and that allowed him to climb up 21 spots to finish in 42nd at 18-over par 158 (84-74). Kaminski had a rather clean scorecard. On the front nine, he had two bogeys, one double-bogey and a birdie on the par five sixth. On the back nine, he came away with a birdie and two bogeys.
Playing as an individual, Zach Tullock, shot his way to an 18-over par 158 (77-81). Paul Henderson had a strong day on the course with an 8-over par 78 to finish in 54th at 23-over par 163 (85-78).
On the front, Henderson totaled just four bogeys and after scoring a bogey on the first three holes on the back nine, Henderson gathered himself to finish with five pars on the final six holes.
Satchel Conroy was the next Griffin on the leaderboard with a 25-over par 165 for 60th. Conroy hit four bogeys and a double-bogey on the first nine holes. On the final nine, he finished with two pars, six bogeys and a double-bogey.
Paul Weiskopf, who also played as an individual, moved eight spots up the leaderboard as he shot a 28-over par 168 (88-80). Matt Rrapasardo, meanwhile, closed out with a 35-over par 175 (91-84).
The Griffins return to action on April 6th at Illinois Wesleyan.
