Men's Golf Climbs Up Leaderboard To Finish In 9th At Take Back The Night Challenge
DECATUR, Ill.—The Fontbonne University men’s golf team shot a 25-over par on the final day of the Take Back the Night Challenge and that allowed them to climb up to 9th with a 66-over par 634 (325-309).

Illinois Wesleyan fended off its "B" team with a 3-over par 575 (284-291) for the win. IWU's "B" team shot a 5-over par 577 (288-289) for second, while Parkland College rounded out in third at 19-over par 591 (293-298).
Individually, Rob Wuethrich (Illinois Wesleyan) cruised to the win with his 5-under par 138 (70-68) performance.
Paul Henderson had himself a final round for the Griffins. He shot a 4-over par 75 to finish in a tie for 18th overall at a season-best 9-over par 151 (76-75). The Arnold, Missouri, native, accounted for three birdies on the front nine to finish at 1-under par as he made the turn towards the back nine.
On the final nine holes, he totaled five bogeys and a double-bogey, however he scored an eagle on the par five 15th.
Sam Kaminski was another big mover for the Griffins on the final day. He jumped up 28 spots on the leaderboard as he shot a 2-over par 73 on the day to close out at 11-over par 153 (80-73). The 2-over par 73 round ties his season-best that he set back at the Southwestern Premier Invite back in October.
Besides a triple-bogey on the par four eighth, Kaminski had a strong day on the course. The Ballwin, Missouri, native, totaled just four bogeys and five birdies.
Matt Rapisardo hit his way to a 20-over par 162 (83-79) and he leaped up 10 spots on the leaderboard after his performance. Rapisardo didn't have any birdies on the day, though he only had eight bogeys and the rest he scored par.
Will Pruden was another Griffin making improvements in round two with his 11-over par 82 to end at 26-over par 168 (86-82). Highlighting the day for Pruden came on the par five ninth as he scored an eagle.
Satchel Conroy rounded out the scoring for the Griffins as he shot an improved 17-over par 88 on the day to close out at 39-over par 181 (93-88).

The Griffins return to the course tomorrow morning for the SLIAC Tournament held at Timber Lakes Golf Course in Staunton, Illinois. Tee-time for tomorrow begins at 8 a.m.
