Men's Golf Finishes Out Round One At The Millikin Country Club Classic

DECATUR, Ill.—Round one is in the books at the Millikin Country Club Classic and the Fontbonne University men's golf team stands in eighth at 29-over par 317.
Millikin University "B" team stands in first place with a 2-over par 290. Illinois Wesleyan "B" team scored a 3-over par 291 for second, while Parkland College is in third at 10-over par 298.
Individually, it's a three-way tie atop the leaderboard. Mitch Cremer (Millikin), Josh Schumacher (Knox), and Justin Park (Illinois Wesleyan) are all tied at 2-under par 70.
Will Pruden, meanwhile, leads the Griffins after 18 holes with a 5-over par 77 for 23rd place. Sam Kaminski is one stroke behind him at 6-over par 78, while Paul Henderson and Matt Rapisardo hit their way to a 9-over par 81.
Satchel Conroy and Carson King, who played as an individual, turned in their scorecards at 13-over par 85. Josh Jones ended up one stroke behind them as an individual at 14-over par 86.
