Men's Golf Earns Sixth Place Finish, "B" Team Ends In Ninth At The Crossroads Of America Invite
WENTZVILLE, Mo.—The Crossroads of America Invite has wrapped up today and the Fontbonne University men’s golf team ended up in sixth place at 54-over par 622 (315-307). The “B” team concluded in ninth place at 76-over par 644 (330-314).

How It Happened
McKendree University "B" team went on for the victory with a 2-over par 570 (285-285). William Penn closed out the two-day event in second place at 18-over par 586 (294-292), while Missouri Baptist rounded out in third place at 27-over par 595 (307-288).
Individually, Oliver Stanway (William Penn), shot a 5-under par 137 (68-69) to hold onto the win over Donavan Ray (McKendree University) after he shot a 4-under par 138 (69-69).
Both Lake Deppe (76-74), who represented the "B" team and Cole Prager (74-76) tied for 13th place after hitting an 8-over par 150.
Cody McKinney turned in another strong round with a 5-over par 76 to finish in a tie for 20th place at 11-over par 153 (77-76). Cole Deppe, who also was on the "B" team, shot a 16-over par 158 (77-81) to finish in 29th place.
Paul Weiskopf, meanwhile, had himself a second round for the "B" team as he improved his first-round score by 14-strokes, including totaling three birdies on the front nine to end in a tie for 37th place at 22-over par 164 (89-75).
Paul Henderson also tied Weiskopf in a tie for 37th after he hit his way to a 22-over par 164 (82-82). Carson King played an improved second round as he shot a 3-over par 74, a 20-stroke improvement from yesterday, scoring all pars on the back nine, to finish in 42nd at 26-over par 168 (94-74).
Mike Maloney was another Fontbonne player that lowered his first-round score, his by seven strokes, to end in 48th place at 33-over par 175 (91-84). Ryan McKinney, meanwhile, ended his day at 36-over par 178 (88-90) for 50th place.
