How It Happened
Host DePauw University won the event overall at 19-over par 587 (278-309). Earlham College wrapped up second place at 21-over par 589 (294-295), while Rose-Hulman closed out in third at 24-over par 592 (292-300).
Individually, Lake Genenbacher (DePauw) and Luis Esteban (DePauw) tied for first overall at 1-over par 143.
Cole Prager had an improved second round where he shot a 7-over par 78 to finish overall at 16-over par 158 (80-78) for 39th place. Paul Henderson also tied for 39th at 16-over par 158 (79-79).
Cole Deppe, who played as an individual, hit a 21-over par 163 (80-83) for a 50th place tie. Cody McKinney followed in 53rd at 22-over par 164 (80-84), while Lake Deppe scored a 24-over par 166 (82-84).
Paul Weiskopf, playing as an individual, turned in his scorecard at 30-over par 172 (83-89). Ryan McKinney, meanwhile, ended the two-day event at 31-over par 173 (85-88).
Pete Wiss (90-86) and Ethan Russell (87-89), scoring as individuals, tied for 68th place at 34-over par 176. Mike Maloney rounded out the Dan Quayle Classic with 38-over par 180 (90-90).
