Men's Golf Stands In Fourth After Two Rounds At The John A. Logan Invite
MARION, Ill.—Two rounds are in the books at the John A. Logan Fall Invite and the Fontbonne University men’s golf team shot a 45-over par 613 (302-311) for fourth place.
MARION, Ill.—Two rounds are in the books at the John A. Logan Fall Invite and the Fontbonne University men's golf team shot a 45-over par 613 (302-311) for fourth place.
Indian Hills Community College are well out in front after scoring an even-par 568 (287-281). Central College stands in second place with a 24-over par 592 (297-295), while John A. Logan College is a stroke behind in third at 25-over par 593 (301-292).
Individually, Birgir Magnusson, who's playing an individual from Southern Illinois, leads with a 5-under par 137 (70-67).
Cody McKinney leads Fontbonne after a couple of strong rounds where he shot a 4-over par 146 (73-73) for 11th place. Paul Henderson shot a 12-over par 154 (75-79) for 24th.
After 36-holes, Lake Deppe shot a 15-over par 157 (75-82) for 33rd, while Carson King is right behind him at 16-over par 158 (79-79). Cole Deppe improved his first-round score by four strokes shooting a 22-over par 164 (84-80). Playing as an individual, Mike Maloney finished at 23-over par 165 (84-81) for 45th.
The team will finish out the final round tomorrow afternoon.
