Griffins succumb to Millsaps at home

St. Louis, Mo. - Fontbonne men's lacrosse suffered another setback tonight after falling 13-1 to Millsaps College. It's the second loss the Griffins have suffered to the Majors this year and sixth overall.
Millsaps started things off quick scoring seven unanswered goals in the first period. Fontbonne stopped their scoring streak with three seconds left in the first after Michael Picciolo assisted Brian Nguyen's sixth goal of the year.
Millsaps then finished the game scoring two goals in each of the next three periods.
Parks Douglass led the Majors with four goals and three assists while Garrett Perez and his laser of a shot tallied three goals.
Goalkeeper Jack Carroll made 13 saves in net for the Griffins.
Fontbonne rounds out their home stand next Saturday, March 25th when they host MSOE at noon.
