ST. LOUIS, Mo.—Fontbonne University men’s soccer goalie, Tony Pitaro, has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Defensive Player of the Week.

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—Fontbonne University men's soccer goalie, Tony Pitaro, has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Defensive Player of the Week.
Pitaro, a Las Vegas, Nevada, native, recorded six saves in the Griffins 2-0 loss against Illinois Wesleyan and finished with a save percentage of .750. On the year, Pitaro's appeared in five games, totaling 20 saves and a 1.91 goals against average.
The Griffins are back in action on Thursday as they'll pay a visit to Harris-Stowe State. Kick-off is set for 3:30 p.m.
