Baumgartner, Cowell, Noah, Haggard, And Gibbs Earn SLIAC Honors
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) released its 2021 All-Conference Team today and the Griffins had five players earn awards.
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) released its 2021 All-Conference Team today and the Griffins had five players earn awards.
Brandon Baumgartner was named to the Second Team, while Joe Noah, Dyllan Haggard, and Ethan Cowell were named to the Third Team. Charles Gibbs collected All-Sportsmanship honors.
Baumgartner, a St. Peters, Mo., native, is named to the All-Conference Team for the first time in his career. He appeared in 13 games and made 12 starts. He totaled 12 shots on the season leading the Griffins in the midfield.
Noah, a Cedar Hill, Mo., native, finished the year tied for second on the team with two goals and one assist for five points. He had one game winning goal against Westminster back on March 13th.
Haggard, a Fenton, Mo., native, also makes the All-Conference Team for the first time. He appeared in all 13 games on defense scoring his first career goal against Greenville on March 20th.
Cowell, a Bridgeton, Mo., native, is on the All-Conference team after setting new career-highs in games played (13), saves (66), wins (five), and shutouts (three).
Gibbs, meanwhile, appeared in 15 games totaling one goal and led the Griffins with a team-high 26 shots.
