Fontbonne Men's Soccer Falls To Webster On Late Goal
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University men’s soccer team had hopes of handing Webster its first conference loss, however, the Gorloks added two second half goals to go on for the 2-1 win.

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University men's soccer team had hopes of handing Webster its first conference loss, however, the Gorloks added two second half goals to go on for the 2-1 win.
Game Breakdown
It remained a scoreless contest up until the 22nd minute when Brandon Baumgartner lifted a pass inside the box.
Kaleb Wilson's shot was going wide, but Dyllan Haggard came running in to the far post and kicked it in for his second career goal giving Fontbonne a 1-0 lead. Webster had a 4-2 shot advantage the rest of the way but still trailed by one at the break.
In the second half, the Gorloks opened with a 4-0 shot advantage through the 57th minute. The Gorloks were awarded a corner kick and Tanner Haugen lifted the ball into the box which found the head of Carlos Llamas and he beat Dominic Haggard on the far post for the equalizer.
Then in the 84th minute, the Gorloks Colby Kapp's pass found Aamahn Murvin in the box and he was able to bury the loose ball into the back of the net giving Webster a 2-1 lead. Fontbonne had one final chance two minutes later but Matt Coffey was there for the save to secure the win.
