DECATUR, Ill. - The Fontbonne University soccer team fell to Millikin University 8-1, this afternoon. The Griffins drop to 1-7 on the season.
Millikin put up an 8-0 lead and in the 88th minute, Andrew Kneale found the back of the net for the Griffins, scoring his second goal of the season.
Dominic Haggard started in between posts for the Griffins. He recorded three saves in 62 minutes. Preston Stork played the remaining 28 minutes in goal and stopped two shots.
Millikin outshot the Griffins, 21-6.
