Men's Tennis reaches first victory of the season

St. Louis- Fontbonne men's tennis defeated Illinois College 5-4 for their first win of the 2013-2014 season.
In doubles, Thaddeus Justice and Yada Demisse took IC to a tiebreaker, winning 7-2 for the 9-8 victory. Fontbonne was trailing 2-1 before singles competition began.
Nathan Reichert won his singles match 6-1 and 6-3. Kameron Thomas and Demisse forced the super tiebreaker in their singles matches, each Griffin winning by two points. With the match score tied at four, Brandon Backus gave Fontbonne the win, defeating Michael Hoefert 6-4 and 6-3.
