Men's Tennis suffers exhausting defeat by Webster
St. Louis, Mo. - Fontbonne University tennis suffered a tough loss at the hands of Webster University Friday night. The Griffins fell to the Gorloks 7-2, but not before three tie-breakers were played.
Sebastian Culton won the only singles win for the Griffins while Blake Wisniewski and Kody Flamm took down Webster's No. 2-doubles.
Wisniewski took down his opponent in the first set of No. 2-singles before falling in a second-set tie breaker and then suffering a 10-5 defeat in the match tie-breaker.
Flamm was down a set at No. 4-singles before defeating his opponent 6-1. The freshman then fell in the match tie-breaker 10-5 also.
Fontbonne will finish their suspended match against Kaskaskia on Sunday at 2 p.m. before hosting them again later that evening.
