Wisniewski Picks Up Singles, Doubles Wins Against Webster
ST. LOUIS, Mo.— The Fontbonne University men’s tennis team put forth a strong effort on Monday against Webster, however, the Gorloks came away with the 7-2 win.
ST. LOUIS, Mo.— The Fontbonne University men's tennis team put forth a strong effort on Monday against Webster, however, the Gorloks came away with the 7-2 win.
In doubles action, things started out well for Fontbonne with Sebastian Culton and Blake Wisniewski picking up an 8-3 win at the No. 1 slot. The Gorloks, though took the final two matches at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
In singles play, Wisniewski got on the board once more with an impressive 4-6, 6-2, 11-9 win over Austin Nation at the No. 2 spot. Despite the Griffins efforts in the rest of the matches, Webster was able to go on for the win.
