In doubles play, the Spartans dropped just three sets and headed towards singles with a 3-0 lead.
In singles action, Dylan Walker came away with the 6-2, 6-3 win over Sebastian Culton at the No. 1 spot. At No. 2 singles, it was a battle between Ricardo Martin and Blake Wisniewski. Martin, though escaped with the 6-3, 7-5 victory. From there, the Spartans won the rest of the singles matches.
