Men's Tennis Earns Two Doubles Wins Against Webster

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—Despite taking a 2-1 advantage into singles play, the Fontbonne University men's tennis team dropped a tough 7-2 contest against Webster on Tuesday.

How It Happened

In doubles action, the Griffins won at No. 2 doubles with Anh Nguyen and Jaxon Ziemann coming away with an 8-6 win over Justin Kohler and Harsh Jaswal.

At No. 3, the Griffins picked up another 8-4 win thanks to the team of Brandon Baumgartner and Hayden Thompson.

In singles play, Sebastian Culton battled throughout the match, but Muren fended off Culton for the 6-4, 6-4 win. The Gorloks went to win all six singles matches to come away with the 7-2 victory.
