St. Louis- After travelling to New York, three wins under their belt and a cancelled game due to snowy weather conditions, the Griffins took to the court once again hoping to win their third match in a row. Fontbonne took the College of Mt. St. Vincent in three sets 25-18, 25-22 and 25-22.
Junior Aaron Graue recorded 18 kills for a game-high while sophomore Peter Hibbeler recorded eight kills on 13 attempts for an attacking percentage of .538. Dominic Prospero and Jimmy Stika held the defensive line, recording 12 and 11 digs respectively.
On Saturday, Fontbonne hoped to advance their record past .500. The Griffins defeated John Jay College 25-17, 25-13 and 25-16.
Graue and Hibbeler were solid at the line once again, contributing on 22 of 27 kills. John Jay totaled a negative attacking percentage on the night.
Justin Winklemann totaled 45 assists over the two days.
