Milwaukee, Wis. - After winning the first set 25-22 against No. 13-ranked Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), the Griffins lost the next three sets and ultimately the match in their first Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League contest.
MSOE's Neil Naughton recorded 18 kills and averaged .640 at the net. A close second set was ensued by the Raiders dominating the final two sets.
Fontbonne was held to just a .067 hitting average overall. After recording 11 kills in the first set, Fontbonne totaled just 15 kills in the final three sets.
Aaron Graue was the only Griffin in double-digit kills, recording 10 total.
Fontbonne takes on MCVL foe Lakeland tomorrow at 2pm on the road once again.
