Plymouth, Wis. - Fontbonne men's volleyball suffered their second loss of the weekend and third loss in a row, taking their season record to 3-5 and 0-2 in conference play.
The Griffins recorded just four kills in their first-set loss (18-25) to the Lakeland College Muskies. Positive hitting improved greatly in the following two sets however Fontbonne fell 22-25 in both.
Peter Hibbeler hit .500 today, the game-high, and achieved a team-high nine kills. Hibbeler led at the net defensively as well, tallying two solo blocks and two block assists. Jimmy Stika and Jacob Lendy were solid in the back row, totaling 12 and 11 digs respectively. Lendy also accumulated 19 assists on the day.
Fontbonne will next battle the Lindenwood-Belleville Lynx across the river, Tuesday, February 10th at 7 p.m.
