ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The (RV) Fontbonne University men’s volleyball team looks to treat the home fans with two final wins in the regular season this weekend. They’ll take on Trine on Friday at 7 p.m., on Senior Night and finish off play in the DSAC in 2019 against Mount St. Joseph at 1 p.m.

A Look At The Griffins
- The Griffins tied the program record in wins last Friday after a 3-0 sweep over North Park.
- Tony Brooks led with a career-high 11 kills and .316 hitting percentage. Grant Garza tied his career-high with 10 kills.
- Kyler van Rossum-O'Connell registered a double-double with 42 assists and 11 digs.
- On the year, the Griffins have totaled 11.73 assists per set, 2.20 blocks per set, 12.87 digs per set, a .265 hitting percentage, 12.67 kills per set, and are holding opponents to a .093 hitting percentage.
- They rank first nationally in opponent hitting percentage and digs per set.
- Individually, Mark Klusman leads the Griffins with 168 kills, a .211 hitting percentage and 108 digs.
- Emir Hadzisalihovic has 131 kills and currently ranks second nationally with a .479 hitting percentage. Josh Farley (119), Brendon Schwartze (107), and Braden Woolsey (103) are all over the 100-kill mark.
- Setter Kyler van Rossum-O'Connell ranks third in NCAA Division III with 10.50 assists per set. He's also totaled 1982 assists in his career and will become the first Griffin in program history with 2,000 assists.
- Defensively, Zach Rothstein paces them with 199 digs.
A Look At The Trine Thunder
- After sweeps over Elizabethtown and Neumann back on March 6th and 7th, the Thunder have dropped four in a row against Stevenson (3-0), Mount St. Joseph (3-0), Adrian (3-1) and Olivet (3-2).
- On the year, the Thunder have totaled 10.18 kills per set and a .150 hitting percentage.
- Eric Santiago-Garcia leads them offensively with 283 kills, while Kyle Dixon has slammed down 277.
- Hunter Monday hands out 8.07 assists per set and freshman libero Blake Grosse is on top with 164 digs (2.34 digs per set).
A Look At The Mount St. Joseph Lions
- The Lions, who'll play Greenville on Friday night prior to the Griffins, have won its last three matches over Trine (3-0), Olivet (3-1) and Adrian (3-2).
- On the season, the Lions are putting away 10.28 kills per set on a .149 hitting percentage.
- Sophomore outside hitter Jason Hascher owns the team-high in the kill department with 190.
- Zack Storc will be another player to keep an eye out for with his 160 kills.
- Freshman setter Rey Sanchez has totaled 578 assists, while defensive specialist Nick Melbardis comes away with 2.21 digs per set (172 total).
