A Look At Fontbonne
- The Griffins extended its winning streak out to five and stayed unbeaten in conference play after picking up two wins against Mount Union.
- In the wins the team totaled 14.00 kills per set and .325 hitting percentage.
- Defensively, the team was just as strong averaging 11.29 digs per set and totaling 13 blocks. Braden Woolsey, who leads the MCVL in blocks per set, totaling seven solo blocks alone against the Purple Raiders.
- Ryan Lively led with 44 kills, including a single-game record 23 in game two against the Purple Raiders.
- He's currently up to a team and MCVL best 82 kills, to go along with his .404 hitting percentage. He also ranks first averaging 4.82 kills per set.
- Cameron Graves (35), Nate Paasch (34), and Woolsey (28) have each totaled at least 28 kills so far.
- Kyler van Rossum-O'Connell came away averaging 12.00 assists per set against Mount Union. He surpassed the 3,000-career assist mark to become the first player in program history to reach that mark and 30th overall in NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball history.
- He leads the MCVL in assists per set (11.00) thus far.
- Zach Rothstein has accumulated a team and MCVL high 53 digs. He's now up to 1,137 in his career which places him seventh all-time. He needs just 180 digs to become the leader in Division III Men's Volleyball history.
A Look At Augustana
- In its shortened season last year, the Vikings finished 12-9 overall. The team averaged 11.72 kills per set and a .175 hitting percentage.
- Justin Murphy, Matthew Schifrel, and Luis Zavala, who earned CCIW All-Conference Selections, are some of the leading returners for the Vikings.
- This year, after dropping two exhibition contests against NCAA Division II Quincy University, the Vikings took on MSOE in its opener on Saturday but fell in five sets.
- The team finished with 60 kills and a .199 hitting percentage.
- Gary Dodovich led with 15 kills and a .256 hitting percentage.
- Murphy and Zavala added 12 and 10, respectively.
- Defensively, the Vikings were led by Brett Kliegl's 17 digs.
