Set Notes
Set 1: The Griffins opened with a 13-7 lead on a double block from Braden Woolsey and Cameron Graves. With the team posting 11 kills and just two errors for a .562 hitting percentage the Griffins were able to cruise to the 25-12 win.
Joseph Huster led with three kills, while at the net Fontbonne had six block assists led by Woolsey with three.
Set 2: Fontbonne grabbed a 15-10 lead in the second, but the Big Blue kept battling and trimmed the deficit to 21-20. However, the Griffins closed out the set on a 4-1 run as a Millikin attack error secured the 25-21 victory.
Logan Irby led with three kills, while Tengis Kelly, Diego Cruz, Huster, and Kolin Scharnhorst had two kills each.
Set 3: The Griffins maintained a 12-9 lead in the third on Ayden Illingworth's kill. Fontbonne continued holding onto its marginal lead and despite the Big Blue getting the advantage down to one, the Griffins secured the 25-23 win on Logan Irby's kill.
