Huster, Lively Named Second Team All-MCVL
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League announced the 2023 league winners and Ryan Lively and Joseph Huster of the Fontbonne University men’s volleyball team were selected Second Team All-MCVL.
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League announced the 2023 league winners and Ryan Lively and Joseph Huster of the Fontbonne University men's volleyball team were selected Second Team All-MCVL.
Through 19 matches played, Joseph Huster played 72 sets, recording 141 kills while averaging 1.96 kills per set, with a .353 percentage. He led the team in blocks with 67 totaling 191 points. He is ranked second in the MCVL in blocks per set with 0.93, and he is also ranked third in the MCVL in hitting percentage with .353.
Ryan Lively played 24 matches, 92 sets and led the team with 235 kills while averaging 2.55 kills per set with a .186 percentage. He also led the team in service aces with 45, he had 165 digs, and 40 blocks for a team-high of 304.5 points. He is ranked fifth in the MCVL in service aces per set with 0.50.
