Game One
Score: Hanover 1, Fontbonne 0

How It Happened
In game one, Lexi Becker got the ball and ran into some trouble in the fourth with the Panthers having the bases loaded with one out. However, she got Ashley Swearingen to ground into an inning ending double play.
The Panthers threatened once more in the bottom of the eighth with the bases loaded, but Becker was up to the challenge as she got Swearingen once more to ground into a fielder's choice.
However, in the 10th, the Panthers finally put one on the board. Carlie Roark was hit-by-pitch to lead off and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. She went on to score on Kiley Shedron's single up the middle for the walk-off win.
Fontbonne Notables
- The Griffins were limited to three hits. Becker led with two.
- Diamond Thomas added the other.
- Becker took the tough loss on the rubber after allowing just one run on 13 hits and striking out three.
Hanover Notables
- Starter Lily Beurman was the story as she struck out 14 Griffins.
- At the dish, Shedron led going 3-for-5 with an RBI.

How It Happened
In game two, the Panthers took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second on an RBI single from Rachel Cox and an RBI double from Brittney Ralson.
However, the Griffins answered in a big way in the third. Thomas led off with a double and moved up a base on Grace Harlin reaching base on an error.
The duo executed the double steal to cut the deficit down to 2-1. Melanie Russo tied the game with an RBI single of her own. After consecutive singles from Daisy Watkins and Emelia Modglin, Becker came through with a two RBI single up the middle, plating Watkins and Russo to give the Griffins a 4-2 lead.
Three batters later, Abby Richmond kept the inning going with another two RBI single as Becker and Modglin touched home to extend it out to 6-2. Thomas ended up batting around and closed the inning out with a triple to right-center to give Fontbonne a commanding 7-2 lead.
After Hanover got one of those runs back in the home half, the offense tallied on two more runs in the fifth with Richmond and Thomas each earning an RBI to push the lead to 9-3.
The Panthers trimmed it back down to 9-5 in the bottom of the fifth, but a two RBI double from Modglin put the game away in the sixth to make it a 11-5 final.
Fontbonne Notables
- Thomas picked up her first win on the year allowing five runs (four earned) and striking out one.
- At the dish, she extended her hitting streak out to seven going 3-for-5 with one run scored and one RBI.
- Richmond posted two hits, two runs scored, and a season-high three RBI.
- Modglin finished the day 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI.
- Watkins and Emily Cardwell had two hits each.
Hanover Notables
- Starter Allison Wiseman took the loss allowing 11 runs (six earned) in 5.0 innings.
- Roark led the offense going 3-for-4 with a run scored and one RBI.
