Game One
Score: Westminster 5, Fontbonne 2

Records: Westminster (11-14; 11-2 SLIAC), Fontbonne (7-21; 5-8 SLIAC)
How It Happened
In the top of the first, the Blue Jays got on the board with an RBI single off the bat of Madison Washington.
From there, the Blue Jays tallied another in the third and two more in the fourth to own a 4-0 lead after five. However, in the bottom of the sixth, the Griffins cut into that deficit.
Diamond Thomas led off with a walk and moved up a base on Emelia Modglin's single to center. After a sacrifice-bunt by Melanie Russo, Maddy Strickland stepped up with an RBI double to left, plating the duo to make it a 4-2 contest.
In the top of the seventh, though Mackenzie Myers and Madison Ingram hit back-to-back one out doubles to push the lead back out to 5-2. That proved to be enough for Ingram on the rubber as she retired the side in the seventh for the win.
Fontbonne Notables
- Thomas fell to 3-9 on the season after allowing five runs on 11 hits.
- Strickland led the offense with a hit and two RBI.
- Modglin, Gracie Morris, and Emily McNiff added the other hits.
Westminster Notables
- Ingram improved 6-4 on the season after striking out a season-high 12 in 7.0 innings of work.
- Myers led the Blue Jays going 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.
- The 3-5 hitters combined to 6-for-11 with three runs scored and three RBI.
Game Two
Score: Westminster 5, Fontbonne 3

Records: Westminster (12-14; 12-2 SLIAC), Fontbonne (7-22; 5-9 SLIAC)
How It Happened
Fontbonne jumped out ahead in the bottom of the first as Russo doubled to right, scoring Modglin to make it 1-0. In the third, the team extended its lead out to 3-0.
With two runners on second and third, Strickland came through with a two RBI single down the left field line to score Thomas and Lexi Becker.
The Blue Jays answered in the top of the fourth with three runs on three hits to tie the game. That score remained the same until the seventh.
Taylor White reached base on a one out single and she raced on home on Hannah Schroeder's RBI double. Two batters later, Washington doubled to left to put Westminster on top, 5-3.
Fontbonne was unable to mount a comeback in the bottom half with the Blue Jays hanging on for the win.
Fontbonne Notables
- Becker fell to 2-7 on the season after allowing five runs on 10 hits.
- Strickland led with a hit and two RBI.
- Thomas reached safely in the last 12 as she went 1-for-3 with a run scored.
Westminster Notables
- Bailee Zemianek picked up her second win on the season after allowing three runs and striking out three.
- Mikala Guthrie went 3-for-4 with a run scored.
- White and Washington had two hits each.
