How It Happened
In the home half of the first, the Griffins got consecutive singles from Lexi Becker and Lilly Jones to put two runners on.
Grace Paez stepped in and hit a double to right-center plating Becker for the 1-0 lead. Gracie Morris grounded out to second but Jones scored on the play for the RBI and 2-0 lead. An error by the Gorloks defense allowed Paez to score for the 3-0 lead.
After scoring another run in the fifth, the Griffins put the game away with the sixth. With two on and two out, Becker singled to left scoring pinch-runner Sara Joines. Jones kept the line moving with a single of her own allowing Patience Vandermierden to touch home making it a 6-0 game. Paez brought home Becker with a single and Jones made it an 8-0 final scoring on a wild pitch.
Fontbonne Leaders
- The 1-2-3 hitters in Becker, Jones, and Paez combined to go 8-for-11 with six runs scored and four RBI.
- Morris and Harlin added an RBI each.
- Hannah Miener and Vandermierden contributed two hits each.
- Inside the circle, Michaela Mason picked up her second straight win tossing a gem going the distance allowing no runs on five hits and striking out three.

How It Happened
Webster grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first but the Griffins struck back in the fifth. Vandermierden laid down a two out but and Galczynski followed with a single of her own.
Becker came to the dish and ripped a single to right allowing Vandermierden to touch home to tie the game. Then, an error by the Gorloks, allowed the duo to score giving Fontbonne a two-run lead.
In the sixth, though the Gorloks scored five runs on two hits to lead by three. Fontbonne had the bases loaded with two outs in the seventh but Webster escaped for the win.

- Vandermierden collected her second three-hit day on the season going 3-for-3 with a run scored.
- Galczynski, Becker, and Jones contributed two hits each.
- Jones and Paez extended its hit streaks out to eight.
