Kutz Tosses No-Hitter, Breaks Single Game Strikeout School Record

LEESBURG, Fla. – Senior Hailey Kutz had a big-time performance in the circle today as she broke the Fontbonne University Record Book for most single game strikeout with 17 while also tossing a no-hitter.
The Griffins opened spring break play in Florida with a 4-0 victory over Sage.

- Ashley Carrow had one hit, one run, and one RBI.
- Grace Paez added one hit and one run.
- Kassidy Chrisco went 1-for-2. She scored two runs.
The Griffins fell to Adrian, 5-4.

- Jillian Mengel went 2-for-2, scoring one run.
Sam Foppe started in the circle for the Griffins and was credited with the loss. She pitched 2.1 inning and allowed four hits and four runs.
Kami Matthews pitched 3.2 innings and struck out four while allowing two hits and one run.
Fontbonne moves to 3-4 on the season.
