Track and Field notches more records at Depauw
Greencastle, In. – The Griffins competed with a small lineup last Saturday at the Depauw Invitation at Depauw University.
Three school records were broken that day. Freshman Katie Gosser broke both the school and freshman records in the 60m hurdles with a time of 12.43 seconds. Her twin sister Colleen Gosser broke the freshman record in the 600m dash with a time of 2:13.48.
In the throws freshman Mackenze Daniel threw a personal best of 12.07m in the weight throw. Senior Jennie Stare ran her fastest time of the season in the 600m dash with a 2:04.51.
The track and field team will continue competition on Feb. 17th at Eastern Illinois University for the Friday Night Special. There will be 10 Griffins competing. The whole team will be back for competition in two weeks for the SLIAC Invitational held at Principia College.
