Track and Field concludes indoor season with giant records
Kenosha, Wis. - The Griffins wrapped-up their indoor season this past weekend in Wisconsin. After two days of competition, the record books continued to get assaulted as Raven Venegas shattered her own school and freshman record in the weight throw and broke Mackenze Daniel's shot put record. She will finish the indoor season ranked 79th in the country in the weight throw.
Additionally, Katie Gosser broke Tricia Morris's school record and Jaylah Jones' freshman record in the 55 hurdles. The Griffins will now turn the attention to outdoor track. The first meet will be the Rhodes Invitational in Memphis, Tenn., the first weekend of the Griffins' spring break trip.
