Griffins Success Continues On Final Day At The Billiken Invite

In the discus throw on the women's side, Sierra Moore set a personal-record with a toss of 35.88 m and that was good enough for sixth place. Amelia Tregoning also hit a PR with a mark of 32.48 m. Mackenze Daniel closed out at 24.83, while Emily Bay concluded with a toss of 19.19 m.
Moore led once more in the shot put at 10.90 m for eighth place. Makenze Daniel ended up in 14th with a mark of 9.37 m, while Tregoning hit a personal-record at 8.85 m.
In the 400-meter dash, Katie Gosser joined in with a new personal-record with a time of 1:09.44 for 14th. Kayla Sheldon ended up in 15th at 1:10.72, while Colleen Gosser (1:14.09) and Bay (1:16.49) closed out in 16th and 17th.
Katie Gosser ran her way to a personal-record time of 1:22.01 in the 400-meter hurdles to finish in fourth place. Jaylah Jones timed out at 1:33.05 for fifth and that was also a personal-record. Sheldon also competed in the 200-meter dash and crossed the line in 15th at 33.00.
The Griffins return to action at the Sewanee Mountain Laurel Invite next Friday.
