Track And Field Performs Well At The Kentucky Relays

On the women's side, Sierra Moore led in the shot put with a seventh place finish after a toss of 11.17 m. She also competed in the discus and ended with a mark of 26.98 m for 11th.
In the hammer throw, Mackenze Daniel came up just short of her record, but still finished with an impressive toss of 37.27 m for 11th. In the javelin, the duo of Emily Bay (26.83 m) and Katie Gosser (24.21 m) finished in seventh and eighth respectively.
Bay narrowly had a new personal-record in the 100-meter hurdles, though she timed out at 20.80. K. Gosser ran her way to a time of 20.98, while Colleen Gosser crossed the line at 22.04.
The trio took part in the 200-meter dash as well. K. Gosser finished at 29.44 for 19th place. C. Gosser was right behind her at 30.99, while Bay clocked out at 31.40.
On the men's side, Juwan Lee competed in the 400-meter dash and finished with a time of 1:01.84. In the 200-meter, Lee ended with a time of 26.93.
The Griffins return to action next Friday at the Lindenwood Last Chance Invite and the Falcon Finale.
