Zmuda Sets New Record In The 60-Meter Hurdles, More Personal-Records Set At Mizzou

How It Happened
Highlighting the day was Natalie Zmuda breaking her own record in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 10.19. Katie Gosser finished with a time of 11.77. Zmuda nearly broke another record in the 60-meter dash as she crossed the line at 8.45.
Tamya Dixon set a personal-record for herself in the same event with a time of 8.59, while Maris Fusiek (9.65) and Tara Weiskopf-Kuehn (10.33) also competed in the event.
Zmuda competed in the 200-meter dash for the first time this year and ended with a time of 27.93 which is just over 2.0 seconds off the school-record pace set back in 2015. K. Gosser ran her way to a time of 29.99, while Dixon hit a new personal-record at 30.13. Bay and Fusiek both timed out at 31.42 and 33.24.
In the mile run, Desiree Brooks nearly had a personal-record time of her own at 6:17.35, while Colleen Gosser was right on her heels at 6:17.41. C. Gosser also took part in the 3,000-meter run and ended with a time that'll put her inside the top-10 all-time at 12:48.71.
In the field events, Mackenze Daniel finished in 13th place with a throw of 12.62 m, while Emily Bay just missed out on a personal-record mark of 10.49 m. Caitlyn Ulery followed at 7.89 m.
In the shot put, Daniel led Fontbonne with a throw of 10.30 m for 15th place. Sierra Moore was right behind her at 10.14 m, while Bay (8.36 m) and Ulery (6.99 m) ended in 18th and 21st place, respectively. Bay also took part in the long jump and landed at 4.32 m, while K. Gosser finished at 4.28 m.
On the men's side, the duo of Greih Murray and Hayden Thompson competed in the shot put as Murray led with a mark of 10.41 m, while Thompson ended at 7.16 m. They also competed in the shot put with Murray finishing at 10.21 m, while Thompson had a new personal-record of 7.65 m.
In the 600-meter dash, Juwan Lee was just 4.0 seconds off his personal-record time as he clocked out at 1:42.21. Lee participated in the 400-meter dash (1:02.25) and 200-meter dash (27.67) as well.
Austin Joyce took part in a couple events on Saturday. The St. Charles, Mo., native, had a time of 5:27.82 in the mile and 10:52.45 in the 3000-meter run.
