Fisher Sets Program Record At Snow Bird Invite

Highlighting the day was Mark Fisher setting a program record in the weight throw clearing 11.65 m (38' 2.25") for fifth place. Tyler Green also competed in the event and hit a personal record with a mark of 10.73 m (35' 2.5") for 10th.
Spencer Parkinson finished in 15th with a PR of 9.21 m (30' 2.75"), while Tyree Simms followed in 16th at 9.10 m (29' 10.25").
Marc-Quan Daniels made his Fontbonne debut ending in 18th with a PR mark of 8.98 m (29' 5.5"). Ian Cordell finished in 21st at 7.28 m (23' 10.75").
Another bright spot went to Alexa Lofgren won the 400-meter dash crossing the line at 1:04.48. Lofgren also competed in the 200-meter dash ending in seventh place with a PR time of 28.34. Madelyn Huffstetter also ran in the event timing out at 29.46.
Huffstetter competed in the 55-meter dash and finished in ninth in the preliminaries ending at 7.76 for a new PR.
In the field events, Ogechi Okpara earned a top-10 finish in the shot put closing out in ninth with a mark of 10.72 m (35' 2"). Holly Pearce ended in 14th at 9.46 m (31' 0.5"), while newcomer Jessica Ballard had a PR throw of 8.43 m (27' 8") for 18th.
The trio also competed in the weight throw with Pearce finishing in ninth at 11.68 m (38' 4"). Ogechi Okpara final throw was her best at 9.93 m (32 7") for 15th. Ballard, meanwhile, closed out her day with a throw of 9.23 m (30' 3.5") for 20th.
On the men's side in the shot put, Simms finished in fifth place at 12.08 (39" 7.75"). Fisher rounded out in 13th at 10.35 m (33' 11.5"), while Marc-Quan Daniels ended in 15th at 10.15 m (33' 3.75").
Green finished in 20th at 8.58 m (28' 1.75") and Parkinson had PR of 8.42 m (27' 7.5").
KeYonn Hall-Baker had a busy day finishing in fifth in the high jump clearing 1.81 m (5' 11.25"). He also competed in the 400-meter dash ending in 16th at 56.44.
In the 200, Hall-Baker crossed the line at 24.98 for 16th, while Jonathan Parker made his debut for the Griffins finishing in 19th at 25.11.
In the 55-meter dash, Parker had a top-five time in program history ending at 7.08 for 27th in the preliminaries.
Dominic Mueller ran his first 800-meter ending in 20th place with a time of 2:16.44. Gabriel Hoekel made his track debut for Fontbonne in the mile timing out at 5:06.21 for a PR.
In the 3000 meter, Hoekel ran his way to a 12th place finish with a time of 10:27.12, while Christopher Strange concluded in 16th at 10:50.95.
