St. Louis-Fontbonne University women's basketball lost their fourth straight game on Saturday falling to 6-15 overall and 4-10 in conference play.
After a close first ten minutes of the game, Greenville chipped away draining buckets, taking a 45-31 lead into the locker room. The Panthers scored nine straight points after halftime for a 54-31 advantage. After just one Griffin bucket, Greenville scored another seven points jumping to a 25-point lead. Greenville went on to win 81-58.
Chelsey Freymuth contributed the Griffin-high 15 points and seven rebounds. Erika Kuhn posted 12 points off the bench, going eight for nine from the free throw line.
Miranda Murray and Whitney Vitt were both four for five from the arc. Murray scored the game-high 19 points off the bench with Vitt totaling 14. Also contributing with 14 points was Emily Gundy.
The Griffins host Principia this Tuesday, February 17 at 6pm.
