Another 3-pointer from Stafford had the Griffins out in front by 15, but the Dutch closed out the quarter on an 8-0 run to trim the deficit down to 17-10. Stafford had herself a quarter going 5-of-8 from the floor and 4-of-4 from downtown to lead with 14 points.
In the second quarter, consecutive 3-pointers from Mallory Proffer and Kourtney White had Fontbonne out front 27-16 with 5:01 on the clock. The Dutch responded with a 13-0 run over the next three minutes to take a 29-27 lead on Carson Fisk's layup.
Fontbonne tied the game back up on Proffer's layup but it was the Dutch regaining the lead and holding onto it at the break, 34-32.
In the third, the Dutch led 40-34 at the 7:04 mark on Kendall Brown's made jumper. The Griffins went on to rattle off a 6-0 run as White's made layup tied it up with 4:35 on the clock.
Central, though maintained its marginal lead the rest of the way and headed into the fourth quarter on top, 45-42.
In the fourth, the Griffins grabbed a 50-48 lead with just under seven minutes left on Raven Venegas' layup. The Dutch took the lead back on the next possession and stretched it out to 62-57 at 1:03 on Kendall Brown's made free throws.
