The Griffins opened with a 7-4 lead at the 6:49 mark on Madison Nelson's layup. The Bears, though closed out the quarter on a 19-5 run leading 23-12 after one.
In the second, the Griffins had its struggles from the field going just 1-of-13 which allowed the Bears to outscore Fontbonne 15-3 to lead 38-15 at the break.
In the second half, the Bears outscored Fontbonne 35-27 as they went on for the 31-point win.
