Bio

Coach Sias accepted the position of part-time Head Women's Basketball Coach at Fontbonne in May of 2014 and was promoted to a full-time position with the addition of Compliance Officer duties beginning in 2015-16. The 2018-19 season is her fifth year at the helm for the Griffins.

During the 2016-17 campaign, Sias took the Griffins to the SLIAC Tournament for the first time since 2012. In her time as head coach, she's totaled six SLIAC All-Conference selectees, one Newcomer of the Year and one Player of the Year.

Sias is no stranger to the Griffin community as she played college ball at Fontbonne from 1999-2003 and was an assistant under long-time head coach Keith Quigley for five years.

Under Quigley, Sias assisted in all aspects of the position recruiting, planning practices and critiquing individual talent. Sias was previously the assistant coach for Ursuline Academy girls basketball with an emphasis on enhancing individual skills, play design and defensive strategies.

Sias holds several Fontbonne women's basketball records: career free throw percentage (85%), most three-pointers in a game (8) and is second in highest free-throw percentage in a season (90.7%).

Sias' Masters in Reading Education is also from Fontbonne (2007). Sias resides in Oakville, Mo. with her husband Zach and daughter Shannon.
