Women's Golf Finishes Fourth at Oakland City Invitational
St. Louis- The Fontbonne University women's golf team finished in fourth place yesterday at the Oakland City Invitational. The meet was held at Country Oaks Golf Club in Montgomery, Indiana. Fontbonne again broke the school record for lowest team total in a tournament by firing a team score of 351.
Freshman Gina Falvey finished the tournament in 2nd place overall with a one-round score of 81, just two swings short of first place. Sophomore Kaylee Heulsing tallied a round of 84 which was good for a 7th place finish. Heulsing's round of 84 is her lowest round of the season. Fellow freshman, Ellen Lindner and Mary Seise both fired rounds of 93 respectively finishing tied for 19th place. Seise's round of 93 was her season low. Junior Natalie Heck shot 95 placing her tied for 25th.
The women's golf team will next be in action on Thursday October 10th versus Missouri Baptist. The dual meet with begin at 11am and will be played at Aberdeen Golf Course.
