FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill.— The Fontbonne University women's golf team closed out the LU-Belleville Fall Invite in fourth place.

Marian was able to go on for the victory with a 113-over par 689 (338-351). Missouri Baptist University closed out in second at 190-over par 766 (405-361).

Individually, Emily Tilton (Marian) won overall with a 17-over par 161 (80-81). FBU, meanwhile, was led by Maddi Vandervort as she finished in a tie for fifth at 38-over par 182 (88-94). Sammi Charpentier ended up in 18th at 64-over par 208 (104-104), while Hannah Householder ended up right behind her in 20th at 68-over par 212 (105-107).

Courtney Kedrowski closed out in 26th place for the Griffins, while Melanie Russo rounded out the day in 27th.

The team will return to the course next Monday and Tuesday for the St. Louis Intercollegiate Conference Tournament at Aberdeen Golf Course.
