Women's Golf Holds Down Second Place After Round One At The SLIAC Championship
JACKSONVILLE, Ill.—The Fontbonne University women’s golf team finished round one at the SLIAC Championship in second place with a 78-over par 366.
JACKSONVILLE, Ill.—The Fontbonne University women's golf team finished round one at the SLIAC Championship in second place with a 78-over par 366.
Spalding University, the reigning SLIAC Champion, sits atop the leaderboard at 46-over par 334. MacMurray scored a 90-over par 306 for third, while Iowa Wesleyan hit a 161-over par 449 for fourth.
Individually, Spalding holds the top three spots and are led by Taylor Thompson's 7-over par 79 performance.
Sammi Charpentier, though is within striking distance at 15-over par 87 and that's good enough for a fourth-place tie.
Maddi Vandervort is one-stroke behind her at 16-over par 88 for sixth. Hannah Householder shot a 22-over par 94 for eighth place, while Grace Harlin hit her way to a 25-over par 97 for 10th. Casey Lisenbardt, meanwhile, totaled a 30-over par 102 for 12th.
