Women's Golf Stands In 14th After Round One At The WashU Invite

How It Happened
Carleton College leads the field overall with a 16-over par 304. DePauw University scored a 23-over par 311 for second, while Carthage College ended up in third at 29-over par 317. Host WashU currently stands in fourth at 32-over par 320.
Individually, Maria Zrodowska (William Woods) scored an even-par 72 to sit atop the leaderboard. Twelve players are within five-strokes of Zrodowska.
Fontbonne, meanwhile, was led by Sammi Charpentier as she scored a 17-over par 89 to sit in a tie for 61st. The Wildwood, Mo., native, hit a 5-over on the front nine, including a birdie on the par five 458-yard ninth hole.
Maddi Vandervort closed out her afternoon with a 20-over par 92. She also scored a birdie on the par five 414-yard fifth hole. Hannah Householder turned in her scorecard at 23-over par 95 for 74th, while Casey Linsenbardt totaled a 32-over par 104. Allison Franken rounded out her day with a 61-over par 133.
